Dr. Kaplan was an Indiana Hand Center Fellow in 2002 and joined the practice in 2003. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at IU School of Medicine and Assistant Director of the fellowship program at the Indiana Hand Center. Dr. Kaplan enjoys treating all of the many types of problems that can occur in the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, but has special interest in the treatment of wrist fractures, shoulder and elbow disorders, arthritis, and arthroscopy. His current research interests include evaluating new treatments for Dupuytren's disease and studying outcomes of distal radius fractures.
