Foundation for Hand Research

The Foundation for Hand Research and Education was founded in 1988 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of hand surgery and the promotion of research findings in a variety of educational settings. The Foundation’s ultimate goal was to improve the lives of those who suffer from injuries or disorders of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. In 2006, the Foundation’s assets were transferred into the St. Vincent Foundation. The goal and purpose of the Foundation remain the same.
