Alexander D. Mih, M.D.

alexander mih photoAlexander D. Mih, M.D., joined The Indiana Hand Center staff in 1990 and is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He specializes in disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. His special interests are in microsurgery and treatment of arthritis at Indiana University Hospital and pediatric hand problems at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

Dr. Mih is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Kiros Society for Hand Research, and the Christian Medical and Dental Society.

He has written numerous scientific articles and frequently speaks at national and local meetings, as well as teaching conferences within the Indiana University School of Medicine and The Indiana Hand Center.

He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Mih completed his hand surgery fellowship at The Indiana Hand Center.
